Our Story

My journey into Arkansas’s EDM scene began in January 2026, when I started looking for my first rave.

While searching online, I came across two events happening on the same day in the same city. At first, I couldn’t even tell if they were two separate events or if I was seeing different posts for the same show. After digging around, I figured it out, BUT...

That was when I started noticing a bigger problem...

There were plenty of things happening in Arkansas’s EDM scene, but actually figuring out what was happening and when could be surprisingly difficult. Events were scattered across Facebook, Instagram, promoter pages, venue pages, and individual posts. Nothing was organized chronologically in one place, so finding the next event often meant digging through page after page just to piece everything together.

I started asking people in the community if anyone kept a Google Calendar or some other centralized list of upcoming Arkansas EDM events.

The answer was no...

So I decided to start organizing the shows myself.

At first, it was simply a way for me to keep track of what was coming up. But once I was already putting in the work to find and organize all of these events, I realized there was no reason to keep that information to myself.

If I was having this much trouble finding events, other people probably were too.

So I started sharing what I found.

And that’s how Arkansas PLUR Network came to be.

What started as my personal solution to finding the next show has grown into something much bigger: a centralized resource for discovering EDM events across Arkansas and a growing network dedicated to connecting and supporting our state’s EDM community.
